Genograffic x2 was a huge success. The show looked fantastic. And now that it has come and gone, I have decided to take the summer off from painting. This is not to say I wont do any art shows, I just wont be creating anything new. However I will be working on sketches and ideas for a new series of paintings, plus working ona side project with DJ and producer HZLR. So I wont completely disappear. Keep yours eyes peeled this fall for some fresh new stuff!

Welcome to the new site design folks! So for those who we're wondering why I haven't bother updating or renovating until now. Here is the story. I was using Freeway Pro on my computer at work to design and upload my pages. Well my work decided to block any unauthorized ftp server uploads. I don't have a copy of Freeway anymore so I couldn't install it on my computer at home.
So I found another site that will let me design and host it all together. And it's easy! So expect it to be updated regularly.
Hope everyone enjoys the new site look.

A native Texan, Jeremy "Jeru" Gabriel began his pursuit of art as a child, drawing his own comics strips, portraits of sports stars and landscapes. Since then he has become a passionate artist applying his abilities in the areas of underground art, graffiti, portraits and graphic design. In 2004 he began participating in numerous art shows and has shown no signs of slowing down, displaying work regularly in his local Dallas/Ft. Worth area as well as Los Angeles, New York and even Northern Ireland.
Jeru has also been a positive member in his local North Texas art community. In 2007 he helped start and run Arlington's F6 Gallery which received high praise for it's dedication to showing talented new artists in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. F6's philosophy was to give any and all aspiring artists a chance to show their work to a new audience without limitations.
Bouncing back and forth between realism, pop-culture and graffiti, Jeru's own work is more about the spontaneous creation he experiences in the moment and the visual response by the viewer once the art is complete. Label it however you wish, the end result is a bucket full of brightly colored eye candy created in various mixed mediums including oils, spray paint, acrylics and markers.
